The Second..

"Hope is a nice thing, but hope is what people cling to when reality is left with nothing else..."

I once read this quote in a magazine article and it just kind of stuck with me. Hope is nothing more than a dream or a far away thought of something unattainable. I think it is nice to have high hopes for things to come, but I can't help but be a realist. Sometimes I just need to let go and let things happen the way they are meant to happen.

On a lighter note, I spent my day off doing absolutely nothing...it was fabulous. I am also really into the word fabulous lately. I kind of feel like I'm being condescending when I say it, but I don't care, I like it!

In keeping with my quote, I can't help but think about life. I think it is amazing how bizarre and brave some people are. I have known a few great people in my life that have been brave enough to just pack up and follow their dreams...I however, am not that brave. As I prepare to lay down for the night my mind is filled with questions, (like it is most nights) about what I am doing and where I am going. I don't want to just sit back and be a spectator in life. I want to make something happen for myself...what, is the big question.
